Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Also saw many small children on bicycles, huge difference from this country. Looks to be common to push bike at 2, pedal at 3 yrs. Fun to see so many good looking people of both sexes on MTBs in full kit.

No one there uses training wheels - definitely in my overrated category.

Wow.

I like my expensive cars, College education, SRAM red (index!) shifter, carbon wheels and frame (aero to boot) as well as my Garvin which allows me to have a few KOM's on strava.
Oh, and I'll smoke your steel is real vintage shimano riding ass everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!
I'm 47, university educated, and let's just say I'm not starving. But in 20 odd years working in corporate finance I haven't had to use or even think about using calculus one iota. But it was a prerequisite. So yes. Overrated.
