what does cannondale six mean?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Six is the atomic number of carbon on the periodic table of elements. Cannondale use to make a Six/Thirteen model, thirteen is the atomic number of aluminium.

I would have assumed it was made out of neon. A frame made out of xenon would be the SuperLIV.

X isn't the atomic number of anything. It's just low grade bike porn.

You must be an engineer. I hate working with no-sense-of-humor engineers.

All other responses were really funny.

"One of the most successful products was the Bugger, a child trailer, although Cannondale's marketing department seemed unaware of the connotations of the name in British English (some were, nevertheless, exported to the UK)"
