Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Highly unlikely. I'm a metal bike lovin' curmudgeon. I only came around to Aluminum about 4 years ago. And only kinda came around to aluminum.

i'll probably take myself out on a date to see the hobbit. mr. ts isn't really a fan.

really liked the lotr series, but i have to admit my main reason for wanting to see the hobbit is because i've been swoony over the actor playing thorin oakenshield for a few years now.

yes. swoony.

That's one classy seatpost/saddle combo. I wonder what year that saddle is and how many were produced...

Getting ready to head out for a 50 mile club ride.

The ride leader did not post a cue sheet, so we are heading off into parts unknown...

If I don't return, I hope all you knuckleheads have a happy life and keep riding!

You'll be fine, just make sure you stay on someone's wheel so you don't get dropped in parts unknown.

It is going to be 65º and sunny here today, about 20º above normal. There is strong consideration for a circuit century this morning.

Enjoy the ride, for winter shall soon be upon us.

Well here I thought it was all our good conversations that were helping Ms. Solo. This morning, I spent the night, she took a pill before leaving for work. She is on the dope. Lexapro to be exact. I really don't like drugs, but I can't blame her. Expecially with her dad on his way out. It also explains the mood swings she has from time to time.
