Ok, just speculating.

I was experimenting to see if I could eliminate those calories. It would be great. It's not possible.

No sun. In fact my recollections of sunlight are becoming a distant memory.

I wouldn't be surprised if our roads have been as wet for as much time as Portland's have been the last 2-3 weeks.

Guess what? It's raining again.

Your January weather is probably better than what half of Addiction sees in March.

Oh yeah - dishwasher finally installed and working? Odds that that will garner special consideration tonight? Still not good.

D Rose returns and the Hawks are back on the ice. Lovie is gone. Not bad.

All in for D Rose.

LAJ 01-13-13 09:37 PM

You're doing well, Velo Vol

LAJ 01-13-13 09:38 PM

Sorry sbxx. Hockey is dead to me.

rjones28 01-13-13 09:50 PM

I haven't cared about hockey since around 1975.

Seriously, tap it a bit. The reed switch inside might be sticking. Also clean the terminals in the sensor.

They actually went bad within 3 weeks of each other. A third one I acquired was repaired by splitting the case and cleaning with vinegar and resealing the case with cyanoacrylate glue. There was a tutorial on a website a couple years ago, you would have to search for it. Basically, I used a razor knife to open it, cleaned the circuit board with a tooth brush and vinegar, rinsed it with alcohol. and resealed it in its case with glue.

i think he ended up cleaning it like this. about 10 minutes into my ride, it started picking up the wheel magnet, but only intermittently, which made him figure it was probably corroded. i didn't see what he did though, so thank you for the detailed description.

Is TS talking about the Garmin GCS-10 speed/cadence sensor?

I work in a warehouse full time and admin here as well as mod another site. I also have to keep eye on three companies and properties. That's why I'm always on the computer!!!!! My eyes are going to be fried when I get older.

So will Amstrong justify his actions by saying everyone else was doing it?
