My dog will be 12 in March. He still acts like a puppy most of the time, but has slowed down some. I delude myself into believing he is immortal because I cannot think about him being gone without tearing up.

Black rings would look nice. I'll probably be replacing them sometime this Summer, I'll have to check on black ones.

BTW, SHE just called, and I didn't answer. I won't be calling her back either.

I'll probably go for SRAM Red black rings. If I switch to another brand I'll need to send the crankset to Quarq to be re-calibrated.

so what's the news on Sam Pcad? did they do a biopsy? or what?

Biopsy results come back tomorrow or the next day, but the very experienced vet said there appeared to be nodules on his liver, and that's probably malignant cancer, which makes his time shorter rather than longer. Maybe 6-9 months. He said he's been wrong about that before, but between the abnormal cells he saw through the microscope and the liver observation it's likely that it's curtains. But curtains 6 months from now beats putting him down in February, and he'll probably feel fine until near the end. Again, we won't know for certain until the lab report. That's the probable outcome. We're glad we bought him some time.

Whatever you do, don't do chemo. I hated watching my old golden die. That chemo crap was the death of him. It's also why Bentley eats a raw food diet.

Wrong....first thing I would do with a 135 lb body would be hit the gym, weights and kitchen....in that order until at least 150.

145lbs, is perfect for me. 150lbs, is a bit on the heavy side. I'm not sure it is possible for me to weigh less than 145lbs, and still be healthy.
