Man it's going to be so hard saying goodbye to Sam whenever it happens. He just turned 10.

That truly sucks, really hope he is okay.

If pro cycling has taught us nothing it's that fast >healthy.

But curtains 6 months from now beats putting him down in February, and he'll probably feel fine until near the end. Again, we won't know for certain until the lab report. That's the probable outcome. We're glad we bought him some time.

Just please don't make him get to the point where he is suffering needlessly.

I am not a fan of human euthanasia because of the abuse that can arise from it, but an animal in obvious suffering is not a good thing.

Sorry if this is a bit blunt, and you probably know what I am saying already.

I've deleted her before. She'll just add me again in a few years. Then after several months of sitting on the request I'd break down, and approve it. As much as I should hate her, I can't. Besides, I want to make sure when things are going good for me, she can see I moved on without her.

No you don't. She should be the last thing in your motivations to move on in the world. Doing it for yourself is what it is all about when you're young and single. If you can't look after yourself you can't look after anyone else.

She'll know when you've made it to the big time without you even thinking about her.

Machka and I had a similar conversation about her cat. In the end, her mother had Smudge put down because the problems she had, a tumour in the mouth, were becoming so overpowering that her quality of life was almost non-existent.

Anyway, that's all in the future. Look after Sam, and keep him happy.

Thanks man. It means a lot from you. Seriously though, I've been itching for something different. We will see over the next year or so.

I am motivated to make myself a better person. I am also motivated to be myself, not whatever she was trying to make me into.

Which diet?
My New Years resolution is no added sugar or anything with sugar added to it, only fresh fruit dessert and 1/2 size portions for dinner. Oh, and no diet coke.

Cause we are jealous, kind of. Maybe not.

Well throw in the asian wife and yeah, okay, we are jealous.

So he'll come home tomorrow, and he'll be well for a while longer at least.

Keep praying.

This is so sad. Good thoughts from me to Sam and Pcad. I hope things work out and you have a bit more time with Sam. I don't own pets for practical reasons but I love dogs and cats. whenever I see someone else's pets, I can't wait to play with them. Sam looks like one of the best.

I've used it in a couple of other Lance threads, but I can't help it: It's now becoming a soap oprah.

Yep, Lance to be interviewed by Oprah. That should be scintillating investigative journalism at its...

The question is, what will Oprah offer him as a prize for being on the show?
