Stop thinking. Delete all possible connections with the woman...emails, phone numbers, social networking. Go do something you enjoy and focus on that for a while. Stop thinking about the woman. Give it at least a week of total no contact and it will become a lot easier. Been there, done that, it works.

Incorrect. One doesn't evolve, in a matter of weeks, from "I'm going to build a house with X" to "I'm not going to get serious with females until I'm 50" based on the influence of said woman. There are deeper issues at work.

And... if Solo needs a tip on how to make sure to keep an ex at a distance... this is how I did it:

The wife of one of the men she had an affair with forwarded to me copies of emails that my ex and her husband had exchanged... including several explicit nude photos of my wife. Right before our divorce hearing I handed one copy to my ex, and showed her a stamped envelope addressed to her parents that contained a second copy. I advised that unless she wanted her parents to know EXACTLY why we were divorcing, she should never contact me in any way ever again. I haven't seen her since the judged banged the gavel. :thumb:
