Last day visiting the in-laws. My wife doesn't understand, but I decided that it was necessary to get out on my own for a couple hours to decompress. So far I have: looked at tools for the wood shop that I want to put together, visited a bike shop to inquire about rentals the next time we're here, have a lunch of wings and beer.

That sounds like a pretty dang good day to me!

Was this at an "owl-themed" establishment?

why not just bring your bike. You drove down there right?

patentcad 01-07-13 01:26 PM

It was nice out there today. Pcad rides.

Back to your regularly scheduled white noise generation.

I brought it down once when we rented a van, but with the Sportwagen, there's no room inside when we have the dog with us. Thought about getting a holder for the roof rack, but we left on kinda short notice and planned on making multiple stops along the way - not sure I want another thing to bring in and out at every hotel (I always end up being bellhop/pack mule which is particularly frustrating when the camper in me has me packing less than a quarter of what everybody brings along. I still don't know how a 30lb toddler can have 6x more luggage than me)

2 laps of the Worlds on Saturday, 100 miles yesterday in frigid temps, and a commute in this morning.

LAJ rides. Oh yes he does.

I've never been to that place. I wonder if they are vegetarian friendly?? I suspect they are more about the (ahem) flesh.

Right before our divorce hearing I handed one copy to my ex, and showed her a stamped envelope addressed to her parents that contained a second copy. I advised that unless she wanted her parents to know EXACTLY why we were divorcing, she should never contact me in any way ever again. I haven't seen her since the judged banged the gavel. :thumb:

Interesting choice of words.

I guess that's the advantage to living in the birthplace of the "breastaurant"... in the Tampa area there are MANY that actually have to compete to retain customers... so they actually have good food! There's the Tilted Kilt, Mugs N Juggs, Winghouse, and my personal favorite: O'Boobigan's.

I thought air freshener might have been at the top of the list.

Having said that, some old people have that smell, and some don't. My parents did. My in-laws, in their 70s, don't. I'm glad I have my in-laws -- wonderful people that I have no trouble visiting.
