Can CF shoes be repaired?
I've had an old pair of Shimano shoes with carbon soles for a few years now. There's a big, cleat-sized piece of carbon missing right where the cleat attaches.
I have other bike shoes, and even another carbon pair. But it's nice to have more than one good pair of shoes in the rainy season. And these were the most comfortable pair I owned. So I'd prefer to have them repaired than to just replace them. Any thoughts on how I could do that?
These are SPD shoes. They attach like this:

2 part epoxy? I've used the 5 minute stuff before and it is pretty good as a filler material. I assume it is just the top surface of the carbon fiber sole that lifted off with the cleat? A picture might help.
