My ex-boyfriend/friend who is over 6'2" and 250ish has owned several Miatas, and currently has a mini, got into, and drove my Fiat just fine. There's quite a lot of headroom and plenty of range to slide the seat back. It's really pretty roomy.

Unless it has a sunroof. Sunroof takes away a couple inches.

It's pretty easy to Google quotes.

... and I totally forgot about our other friend who is about the same size, maybe a little heavier actually owns one and loves it. It's like driving a go-kart. All the time.

cheaters never prosper.

Pre-emptive shoveling is such a depressing exercise in futility.

News just said we went from predicted 2-4" this morning now to possibly 6-10"

Mr. TS broke our snow blower at a really inopportune time.

I'm pretty sure that you have to wait until there is actually snow on the ground before shoveling.

Good idea. There are so many more deserving candidates here.

Incorrect. It is in Europe. Earlier someone posted a photo in this thread that is a hint.

Does the scene involve a cavity search?

Herbie53 02-26-13 07:58 PM

I needed a rapid endorphin injection this evening (REI). That worked.

We rented a 500 during a visit back in Norcal in summer 2011. It was a rental, so an automatic, but still sort of fun. It was a bit buzzy on the highway but nothing that bad and super easy to find parking for around Tahoe. I crammed it in this spot and found that the way I had it in there caused the rear wheel to lift. I thought that was a good sign of a stiff structure until my wife opened the door to get in. It would not close again until I moved the car to level ground. I guess you don't drive with the doors open, but it was sort of troubling.

That 500 is cute. I would still be worried about reliability.

If my 1998 Saturn SL ever dies, I would put the 500 on the list of possibilities, along with a mini and miata.

Of course I will probably end up with a civic or some other boring, reliable car.

Well it is a small FIAT. Fun and Fragile. They haven't really changed that in decades.

I think that the basic model is possibly reliable. and maybe the unreliable bits aren't necessary for it to actually go, stop and handle ok. Just the trim, interior and maybe the electronics. At least it shouldn't rust like an old FIAT.
