Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

is it possible

Is it possible that bike shorts that use to be comfortable to wear no numbness no pain, now cause pains, and some numbness. And the pair that use to cause me pain are now comfortable?

The shorts that have more chamois cause me pain, and the shorts with less chamois are comfortable.

One thing is i do weigh less.

Yes, of course it is possible. You've mentioned one factor ... you've lost weight. Another is that shorts do wear out.
