Picked up a Toupe this afternoon. Hopefully it's not going to make my ass hurt and my junk go numb. If the Toupe doesn't do the trick, I'm exchanging for a Romin. If that doesn't do it, I'm going to Ribble a Selle Italia SLR Superflow.

Oh, and I learned that my ass bones are 140mm apart, FYI.

I am comfortable on a 130mm saddle. Both saddles on my road bikes are 130. Arione and a pro-light. I have a small tight ass.

Now this is the gayest post evar.

I took Spanish for three years in high school, I was actually on the Spanish honor society. I was too young and dumb to realize that I should be paying attention and actually learn something. Good thing for me the girl that sat beside me was really smart. :D

I took two years of Spanish in high school (pretty worthless) and "Intermediate" Spanish in college (probably equivalent to a good high school course).

I got to where I could kind of read simple text, but never could converse in it worth a hoot.

Back then Spanish was a novelty in that I had almost no exposure to it outside the classroom. This was in the days before Knoxville became a cosmopolitan melting pot. Now I can listen to a Mexican radio station, get Spanish on TV, and mingle with Spanish speakers at volleyball.

But alas, I don't know it.

I took German in HS. I wish I remembered more. Would have been helpful for several trips to German speaking European areas.

Put the Toupe on last night. Just finished 90 minutes on the trainer. I CAN FEEL MY DONG! Zero numbness, though I must admit that my ass bones hurt a bit after I was done and also while under light effort (more weight on the saddle, less on the pedals?) The Toupe might not be the final answer, but it's a hell of a lot closer.
