I did a 1/3 metric century under the never-ending winter overcast Knoxville skies.

I put in 1/10th metric. Stayed in the 53 the whole time, at least.

Fraying the very outer edges of the Gomer Envelope.

I did a 1/3 metric century in my garage. This after shoveling snow for a couple hours.

I did well to get that many miles in.

I had an arthritic flareup and this morning I couldn't bend my right elbow enough to shave the right side of my face. Had to go left handed.

The question is how long will you last on the Phred, which over the years has become increasingly Phredless, particularly the second half.

Astonishingly enough, my right knee, the arthritic one, has not had Synvisc shots for 15 months now, and it is fine so far. In the past it has been 10-12 months and it gets pretty bad.

I must be extremely bored/have no life because I just went through the entire bicycle recall section @ the cpsc. Earliest being October 15th, 1976, most current: March 21st, 2013.

Get a Spin Dr. Stand. Its like $60.00 works great for what it is. Ive built a ton of wheels with mine.

I do like buying tools, but I'd also want/need a spoke tension meter...



...on the other hand, there's a bike coop about 5 miles away that rents out DIY spaces in their shop, with tools, for $5/hour.
