I'm so jealous of TS. All th cool kids in school had broken arms and had their casts signed by everyone.

You don't get a cast with a broken collar bone.

Needs more cowbell.

I landed on my left side, my left knee and ankle are sore, and my chest hurts a little on the right side but I don't see any bruises anywhere. I tumbled for a while, ate some dirt and rashed my helmet but didn't get knocked out. Brand new helmet, but $500 well spent.

Considering two people took helicopter rides in other incidents today, I'd say I'm doing pretty frigging great.

Be sure to have somebody fetch you pecan pies, while you heal up.

Harsh!

I just now "hooked up" with the gal I started dating about the same time.

Yeah, we did no "pacing".

I'm going to need a new frame, too. What's the real sizing on the Nashbar aluminum frames? They seem to be giving real top tube instead of effective.

Ha. When I walked into the ER, I was wearing a long sleeve under armor shirt, yoga pants, and running shoes. The gal at the reception desk heard my accent and saw my makeshift sling and asked "did you fall on the cobblestones downtown"?

Apparently Savannah has some issues with clumsy tourists.

Just don't break too many. One of the heli rides was in the room next to me. He's a less famous pro rider and I cringed when I heard him say "Morphine doesn't work." He's been hurt so many times, he's resistant to painkillers.
