I believe that would be the BMC TMR01.

You say that, and I could be persuaded to agree, but does the TMR01 have its own thread stating it? No! QED.

Foiled again needs to be preceded by "Curses!"

Just my opinion, but I recommend the Argon for the following reasons:
1) It has darn sexy looks and graphics
2) It is a niche manufacturer, that you don't hit with every swung dead cat
3) I know two riders with them, who continually go back to the brand, and have no negatives associated
4) As a race / performance bike, they have a positive pedigree and performance. I don't know if I would look at them vs an "endurance" bike, but definitely as a nimble racer
5) You don't pay as much of a premium for the name
6) The only Pinarello owners I know are folks with more posture than skill

That cracks me up.

Why? He is moding for better aerodynamics and lighter weight for increased fuel mileage.

Possibly approaching creepy territory, sensors on continuous scan.

LesterOfPuppets 03-15-13 07:34 AM

I wanna know what "more posture" means.

I stand by my original statement.

If any garage mechanic thinks they can outdo Honda in balancing safety, fuel economy, aerodynamics, and cost... I've got something I'd like to sell them...

Posing, not riding

I met a guy in Auburn, WA trying to get a water car going. He showed me one of his hydrogen generation jars in action and everything.

Still looked like quackery to me.

Herbie53 03-15-13 07:50 AM

I wonder if SA will be replacing that dated junk he rides with a Foil now.

I drive a smart, and attend some of the events and gatherings. What amazes me is the complete lack of common sense when people put lots of time and money into fuel saving mods that reasult in minimal savings.

Seriously, if you want the ULTIMATE fuel and weight saving mod, it's free. Airlines have been doing this forever. Only keep enough fuel in your tank to get to your destination.

LesterOfPuppets 03-15-13 08:09 AM

Dangit. Found another dream bike a little too small. The white and blue Tomassini looks sweet in crappy pic.

I kinda wanna go kick the tires just to see what the hell kinda saddle is on that red Guerciotti. Looks GIGANTIC and SATINY!
