It's kind of sad. He gets picked on in the race forum a bit and so he comes over here to abuse what he calls noobs. I hope he doesn't have kids.

35 degrees Fahrenheit is no big deal for my friends in MT or MN, but I'd whimp out.
On the other hand, 115 degrees doesn't bother me at all.
Honestly, I love cycling when it's over 100 degrees because all the snowbirds are back where they belong, an the locals give you respect for not being a whimp about the heat.

Meh, they're crazy, steer clear and don't let them bite you.

Still kicking.
I enjoy it when it's under 35.

I was once bitten by one when I drove really close and tried to push him on the back of the butt to make him go faster.
He tried to unclip so he could jump inside the car and eat me alive but his cleats were frozen to the pedals...I was saved by the cold~

To me it feels great to sweat like a stuck pig. It's way better than shivering.

You don't enjoy riding in 35 degree, snow, rain and hail. Stop posting messages on facebook and Strava saying how much you "love" getting out and riding in terrible weather. No one believes you, they just think you're insane.
The cyclist understand you like cycling or want to get a training day in. We understand you ride outside because you hate the trainer or have no choice, but when you post dumb things like loving hail smacking you in the eyeballs we just laugh at you.
End of riveting tale, continue on talking about saddles and which chain lube to use...

I won't even mention the non-cyclist who claim that 20 degrees isn't cold and its "nice" out or how the "weather isn't so bad". Dude you sit at home in your heated house, then you get into your heated car and drive to work, then you sit in your heated office all day, come home in your heated car and go to bed in your heated house. You're not a bada$$, stop pretending you're superior to people living in Florida or Texas.

You should come out. Lots of Russian speakers have settled in the last 20 years. Russians, Ukrainians, even some Kazakhs.

Ya know, there's a bumper sticker that says "A bad day fishing is better than a good day working." And that's how it is riding in the cold or wet, not as much fun, but better than working.

85? Seriously? That's hot. The perfect temperature for riding is around 55-65

Sorry, I like riding in all weather. Riding for 7 hours in the rain and cold IS fun in a different way.
