Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Am I a Roadie now?

I was riding solo yesterday when another cyclist waved at me and I didn't wave back.

Do I qualify?

Not until you cause anger in a few car drivers by blasting through a red light in full kit.

You need more than one road bike to be a roadie.

No, you don't qualify for a roadie, you qualify for a phony.
