Halfspeed any updates? I'm now sitting in the hospital waiting for my wife to get a MRI to rule out a stroke. TIA has been mentioned.

Nothing new yet today. Waiting on bronchoscopy results.

Taking a break from Monster Jam?

Wow... I was thinking that I had a really stressful day. Positive thoughts and energy going out to all of the missusses out there.

My day:

Woke up at 7:40. I have to be at work by 8:00. My office is 40 minutes away. Caffeine can't touch the energy rush you get from realizing you have overslept.

I found out that smart cars are indeed governed to a top speed of 96 mph.

My wife has been having phone difficulties, so I ordered a new phone to surprise her. Best Buy had a great deal on the phone that she has wanted, so I set it up for an in-store pickup for my lunch hour. The store was only 3 blocks away, but a malfunctioning railroad crossing made that little trip take 45 minutes.

Once at the store, there was only one employee working. She was explaining smart phone features to a retiree who appeared to have never seen such magical devices.

Finally, it was my turn. I explained that I was replacing my wife's phone on our family account, and she was not with me. I needed assurance that the old phone would not be deactivated until I got home and activated the new phone, since she is using the phone for interviews. They assured me that was the case. They lied.

On a positive note... when her phone shut off... Mrs Raleigh drove over to see me. And brought lunch!

You did your best, and planned a nice surprise. It isn't your fault that your best was woefully inadequate.

It's the thought and effort that count... except in the bedroom.

That you have a though in that empty gourd of yours is always shocking....do you ever tire of being such an ass bucket? Don't answer that. I don't want you to hurt that lopsided head of yours trying to formulate another thought ....

So things worked out pretty well, in the end.

In the bedroom, it's having another person present that counts. :thumb: or so I am told.
