Yeah, I got caught off guard, too. Luckily I checked in here so Rowan and RUOkie could clue me in.

It's also blow-your-hand-off season already...

Yep, that'll do it.

The Medford Mail-Tribune says Budreau described it as “a devastating injury,” adding that “a majority of the hand is gone.”

Officers cited Jenkins for illegal possession of fireworks.
When they gave him the citation, do you think that they were uber dicks and tried to pass it to his stump?

Or people who flip out over seeing spoilers could just avoid reading internet cycling forums until after they get caught up. It would certainly spare the rest of us their kvetching.

Meanwhile, on the 2013iest day of the year, it quite literally rained on our parade: http://www.postbulletin.com/news/loc...a4bcf6878.html

Thanks sbxx.

Awesome helmet. I hope a ride report follows.

Safety pin his citation to his stump.

Gorge Rd bridge over Chittenango Falls. Not fancy, but I stopped here for a snack.

Freshly removed asphalt. I hate riding over that stuff in a car, I can't imagine a bike. It does mean there will be fresh, smooth pavement in the near future. :thumb: Or chipseal.

It's better to ride that stuff slow, like 10mph. Faster than that and I felt like I was going to be shaken to bits. The newly paved stuff was nice an smooth. It's a rural road, so it's oiled chipseal.

I kinda like that wandering front wheel feel to that stuff. Around here they often put up signs which say "Motorcycles exercise extreme caution" when they do it.

Where are the falls?

P.S. There are people under the bridge.

The trick is to just guide the bike. Our roads are spotted with them, fixing all the patch jobs from winters past. One day rough road, next that, next new pavement you hope doesn't melt your tires.

Is this where we submit user suggestions? Because mine keep getting ignored.
