Yes it does.

Nice ride out and back on a bike trail from a nearby town. We didn't come across any buses at the finish...

Rowan 06-30-13 04:19 AM

Here we go.

The 10,000th post on these forums by yours truly

Actually, it's about 10,000 plus 50, but there were a heap deleted with a database meltdown some years ago, and I've had a few deleted because someone took offence at them. Whatever.

But it irks me that I am so far behind...

... my wife who has well over 30,000 posts here. Heaven knows how she has done it.

Oh well, if there is one thing I have learned after reading our marriage contract several hundred times... the wife always wins. ;) :D

datlas 06-30-13 05:32 AM

Congrats Rowan.

BTW the end is near.

datlas 06-30-13 05:33 AM

Getting ready to do a club ride.

First time on the bike in a week.

No wonder last week sucked.

Oddly enough, this is the first time in years I have ridden 7 days straight. My feet are improving with new treatment for the...cornucopia of issues through which they have suffered over the years.

Being off the bike sucks.

It's gone...
No love,
Just blase, like who cares..
It's sad,
I just could care less..
About
The TDF.
It's sad.

Why? Are you a poor competitor?

surgeonstone 06-30-13 06:42 AM

Smart husband does not = poor competitor.

Hear, hear. My normal days this week for longer rides (2 hours+) have been consumed by discovering and fixing problems with broken crap on the road bike, and it's put me in a bit of a mood. The wife doesn't quite understand why I'm so insistent that I get out today as opposed to going to Home Depot to pick up more landscaping crap...

They're perfectly safe, don't you know? The fireworks salesman says so.

Damn riding always getting in the way of posting!

I'll write a song about it. The good news is none of you will have to hear it.

At least the director of the 911 call center lives across the street.

That was a badly timed chain drop. They shouldn't have switched to Campy. :thumb:

What happened with the BB story? Was there a happy ending?
