Suggestions for winter gloves
Well as the title states what are you guys using for winter gloves?? I know its still summer but I am trying to put together my winter stuff ahead of time this year so I can shop for some good deals. I would like to hear what you guys use for temps in the 30 degree range.
Thanks

Sugoi Firewall... they have two models, one for cold and one for frigid. They are awesome and reasonable in price, especially if you are to buy them now. The sizing is bit on the large size, so if you are between sizes, get the smaller one.

Depends how hot/cold you tend to run and what kind of wind/rain protection you need. Above freezing I us a pair of full finger soft shell gloves. Below I prefer either a "lobster" or "trigger" style mitt.

For the coldest days ( 15 - 20 f ) I wear LL. Bean winter gloves I got for $20. For warmer days I wear different weight gloves that are on sale at some local store. Expensive gloves would not keep my fingers any warmer. I also got some very thin knit liners from Nashbar for $5 that are a good extra layer on cold days. My hands get warm & sweat sometimes, so drying them afterwards is important. I place them over my hot air vent in the house.

Agree. Personally, I don't have much trouble with cold extremities in the winter. I'll ride down to 32F and use relatively lightweight softshell (windstopper type) gloves below ~42F. Above that I wear uninsulated single thickness fabric gloves as might be worn on the MTB in summer. Above 50 it's my usual short fingered gloves.
