Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

who is to say they did not end up getting on their bikes...? To me, underwear under bike clothes just does not feel right. You get used to the feel of bike shorts.

If we are talking male pro teams, there is not a male pro on earth who wears undies under cycling shorts...

JMHO....

and you can also see the undies-outline when wearing cycling clothes. I highly doubt that they will wear undies under their new team gear even if it just for show.

I was going to say that also.

They are pro, they dont wear anything under their shorts ever.
and even more so, what kind of sick fetish do you have that would lead you to ask that question

When we took team photos I doubt that many of the people were wearing "underwear" under their clothing...

I was just curious. But I suppose after wondering around in your Cycling Gear for a couple of hours while speech's and photo's take place you will get uncomfortable if you wore anthing under your shorts.

When you go on a bike tour...You just do not bother to pack much in the way of underwear...Bike shorts supports your muscles and other stuff, just the way underwear does...
If you are not a slob, why would you feel uncomfortable..When out on the bike doing a century , you might wear bike gear for a whole day.

On a semi-related subject, since underwear are so uncomfortable under biking clothing, do you think I could raise my off-the-bike comfort level merely by going commando 100% of the time?

I think underwear is the least of our worries. I keep imagining Derek Smalls passing through airport security...

Where is that picture of all those guys looking "happy". It's in one of those threads......they were all dressed in red kit?

I think Hipcycler got the picture?

53-11....That would be a fear of a good team presentation should one find himself upon the podium..The excitement of winning then being oggled by those Italian podium girls..Might be too much excitement...Guess, getting kissed by the podium girls would be worth the risk...Turn to the cameras and say cheese!.Look happy and smile.

53-11...All the way...I was being hypothetical...Could happen. The pic's of Italian Podium girls kissing Cunego in the Last Giro...Effects many a male...Is one of the options of my desktop wallpaper collection.. In high schools they are not allowed to dress like that...In most districts as least.
