Drop bar buying advice
Hiya.
Usually lurk around the singlespeed forum but thought that this question may be better suited over here. Also tried to look around for the appropriate thread to post it in, sorry if I'm cluttering things up here.
Basically, I've ridden straight/riser bars on crap bikes all my life but purchased a Steamroller this summer and now I'm curious on the whole drop bar thing.
I've been eyeing both the Easton EA30/EA50 stem and bar and I'm wondering if these would be somewhat decent purchases for an unknowing like myself?
Worth mentioning, I do want to keep my front brake on the tops, cross lever style.
Thanks in advance.

Since you are not going for weight saving as high priority, these should work well. Ritchey also makes a variety of stems and bars for reasonable prices.

Thanks for the heads up. Actually ended up grabbing the - even heavier - Cinelli Vai from eBay for about the same price.
If I were located in SoCal I would definitely have grabbed that Ritchey of yours, Elvo - it's just that I'm living in Sweden..
