Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Come over to addiction. We can embrace the collective hate.

I hate him because he uses facts and experience to kill threads that would otherwise go on for dozens of pages with people arguing about things they really know very little about.

I hate panda bears. They are overrated for both cuteness and durability (because they are made in China).

I also hate spackle. It is a nonsense word, with no proper root in any language. I believe that it was originally a bird, hence all of the " feather the edges" references.

Nah, not enough arguing in there for him. Too peaceful. Staid.

I agree on both points.

Pandas are lazy, bamboo eating slackers. If they weren't so cute they would have been BBQ'D out of existence decades ago.

Spackle is a dumb word but pretty fun if you say it out loud ten times in a row.

It's even funnier if you put 'ass' in front of spackle.

I hate BDop cuz he never shares the swag. The pig.

Does that make spackle a grackle byproduct?

Not a fan of the multi-period "sentences". Learn. To. Express. Yourself.

(This is fun. I think I'll go ride now, though.)

Rain and heavy fog. I don't ride in heavy fog. If this doesn't clear up, there will be no ride today. I blame BDop.

Now you're just being obtuse. You use the widely accepted International Pea Soup Scale established in London in 1886.

You sent it here in retaliation for my earlier post. Didn't you?

I am trying to muster sufficient hate for the PBK thread, but that may be one animosity too far.

I dislike having my angularity called into question, since I am almost always right. Orthogonally speaking, of course.
