Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

8 Speed Triple Chainrings compatible with Shimano?

My two inner no name chainrings seem to be bent. They are "triple ring 52/42/30T". I can't seem to find any Shimano chainrings that are black and with the same gearing. Is anyone aware of any other chainrings by otehr companies that are compatible?

If necessary, are there cranksets that are compatible with my current Shimano setup?

This is my bike.

the crankset is prolly 130/74 BCD
you can confirm here https://sheldonbrown.com/cribsheet-bcd.html
just about any 9 spd ring or older will work OK, and Shimano brand rings will work nicely.
might make sure that the crankarm is on snug... sometimes they do catty-wamppus on cheaper SQ-taper stuff - but then all three rings seem bent...
gotta be pretty cheezy rings for the granny to be bent, unless they come pre-bent as a feature

buying 2 'new' rings can be almost as costly as getting a full crankset & BB...

but, good luck

There are bikes with prebent chainrings? i've never heard of such a thing.

Those chainrings are no name ones. I wouldn't be surprised if they are junk. If 9 speed rings work, work a 9 speed crankset work? I might as well get a 9 speed crankset for for room for future upgrades if that is the case.

I've tried to bend them back into place but they are still a bit bent. If I were to use some spacers on the chainrings, would that work? I can't bend the crankset entirely straight but it's better than before.

Were the chainrings bent in shipment or were they bent from use?

It's bent from use probably.

I was able to shift just fine when i first got the bike. Asides from never cleaning the bike, I always treat it carefully since for me, $400 is quite the investment. I have no idea how it could of bent.

when i lay them on flat surfaces, presisng certain points will make it tilt or wobble while pressing other points along the circumference but at equal distance from the center does nto cause it to wobble. This leads me to believe it's bent. Also, when I look at teh chain from above while it is on the middle chainring, i notice it moving to and away from the largest chainring.
