Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do I need an adapter for Cycleops fluid 2 turbo trainer?

I will shortly be getting a cycleops fluid 2 turbo trainer. I have just seen that there is an adapter available and it says you need it for bikes with 20/24 wheels. I have a cannondale caad8, and on the tyres it says 700/23. Does anybody know if I will need the adapter? Some websites make it look like you only need it if you have 20 or 24 wheels, while some make it look like if your wheels fall between these sizes. Here is a link for the adapter- https://www.wiggle.co.uk/cycleops-202...wheel-adapter/

Thankyou in advance!!!

Bikes: Felt Brougham, Lotus Prestige, Cinelli Xperience,

You do not. That is for 20" or 24" wheel diameters. Your wheels are 700c (which is a design specification and not a measurement) and are what the trainer is designed for. The 23 is tire width, 23 mm.

Enjoy it as it comes. Use the wheel skewer provided.
