Mapmyride vs cyclemeter
I am not satisfied with mapmyride app for iphone. I currently ride with sigma speedometer and iphone mapmyride. I am trying to figure out if I can go to iphone app only. I find that there is significant difference in duration of ride data. About 2 minutes in 25 miles. I read about cyclemeter. Is cyclemeter more accurate and can I analyse cyclemeter on windows 8 computer?

I can't speak much to mapmyride, but I've recently started using cyclemeter. It was a bit daunting at first, for some reason. It's highly customizable and you can get screens to look however you like (I have a screen that shows my heart rate, cadence, av cadence, speed, av speed, distance, and time). As for accuracy, I don't know if that's so much to do with the app as it is a limitation of phone GPS chips, if I understand correctly. It seems that for really accurate speed/distance, a speed sensor on your bike would be the way to go. I use a Wahoo bluetooth sensor that feeds into cyclemeter, and a polar heart rate monitor as well.
Data from cyclemeter is exportable via email (gpx, kml, csv, and tcx formats) . I've never tried importing that data to other programs, but the capability appears to be there.

How long does it take you to ride 25 miles? I'm guessing a 2 minute discrepancy isn't a big deal...?
None of these things will agree 100 % because they're measuring the data in different ways, and using different rules to summarize it. A magnet on your wheel is going to be the most accurate, as long as the sensor picks it up reliably.

I have been riding with Cyclemeter for a year and like it for my semi-serious riding. Certainly not Strava. In group rides I find that it can vary some from a bike mounted Cat Eye and I assume that is due to Apple GPS accuracy.
