L.H. is Liz Hatch, by the way, for those bicycle enthusiasts who are not star struck or boobs struck enough to know or care about personalities. :roll eyes:
Gawd, it's a sad state of affairs when someone gets "initials" status simply because they are endowed with healthy boobs. :roll eyes:
I mean, what other claim to fame does she have?

i've had the exact opposite experience since becoming certified to teach. i've had to tell the school a couple times now that i'm not joining the union and paying dues until they're paying me to teach.
milorganite?
truth. i've hurt myself with both.
Thanks for the tip, but I doubt that will fly in this household, but I will research it. Wifey is an all-organic fanatic. No herbicides, pesticides, or any other 'ides' unless truly natural. We use mostly compost for fertilizers. I got tired of wrestling with her about it and just go along now.

Thanks! I'll forward this to the organic screening committee (Mrs BD and associates) for review.

while it is an organic nitrogen fertilizer...
and it is rigorously tested, and probably safer than what is usually put on food... it's made from the poo of milwaukeeans.

Arsenic was raised from 12.5 to 36 pounds per acre. Mercury from 13.4 to 50 pounds per acre, and chromium from 472 to 2,672.[SUP][9][/SUP] This allowed fertilizer of this type to be more widely accepted and used.

I would have some difficulties using it on food crops for this reason, although the EPA seems to have come to terms with it.
You can actually get composted cow manure that has less issues in the way of heavy metals, but it comes out of feed lots
here, which in turn have their own sets of issues. It's always somethin'.

It appears likely the powertap will be rebuilt with a psimet 58 clincher, 50f Alchemy ELF, CX Rays. The workhorse of the quiver.
We can do some destructive testing with the 1st generation Assault rim. That thing won't go down easy.

Nice. Your getting quite the collection. I think that Assault should just be framed. It has served you well.

The dried are quite good on their own, though caution is always advised. They mostly all end up that way anyway.

Flagstaff is tough on any set of rims and brakes. I tried out BDop,s Air Brakes for the first time there, and I was impressed.

They're on the Ridley. I had them on the November, but wasn't sure how his carbon brakes would be on the Reynolds rims, Now, it likely doesn't matter, as I think the warranty is void when I went with the CX-Rays. But, I like them a lot.

...sadly Milorganite suffers from the same issues as anything else made from an urban sewage sludge base.

supposedly wi farms are less feed-loty than in california. we do have mega dairies, but around here, they're mostly pastured. i'm having a hard time finding data for percentages in each state of feedlot vs. pastured cows. i will admit to not looking very hard.
the 7 hour days i thought i'd be working have been 9 hours, (i haven't even asked to leave at 4, because my boss is still trying to make up on paperwork that is behind because he was doing a 2.5 person job by himself for 6 weeks. so, i stay and work through the stacks.) plus a couple hours when i get home of freelance. i'm starting to drop the ball on stuff, mostly the leather work. that sucks. i don't know what i'd do if they also gave me teaching assignments in summer.
i also have to figure out what to do for lunch. i've been eating only once a day when i get home.

Trying to decide if I want to get my can kicked by the 35+, or the Cat 3's. I like Stazio, but I don't know if I feel like spending 35 to get my ass handed to me.
