Yeah 700 seems like something is not up to par, unless the seller has no idea how to price a bike to his/her advantage. But you never know maybe the seller is rich and has money to spare.

Possibly Being that I was shopping for CAADs in LA a few weeks ago, I can tell you the person could easily get $1000 if they had a couple of weeks to sell it. Used CAAD10 frame sets alone have been selling for $600-650 on Ebay recently. Whatever the case is, OP got a great deal unless there is something seriously wrong that the seller was hiding

OP, what ever you do with the bike....DO NOT REGISTER IT :p

jkjk, hopefully it's not stolen. I have seen a few rich tards in my area sell a 3k bike for 1k cause biking wasnt their thing.

Enjoy the bike!

I hope not! The guy seemed careless about how much he got out. I should've asked why he was selling. I was too exited to ask lol. But seriously is there a way I can tell if its stolen?

Also he seemed like a family man and well off but who knows.

I took it to the bike shop to check out all components and other than adjusting the derailuer everything was in great shape. Including the brake pads and tires.

You can give the frame number to the local pd and ask if its been stolen. If the original owner registered it and then reported it it should pop up. If it was never registered nor reported stolen there is not way.

You can't worry about if it's stolen or not. If I were you I wouldn't go digging at this point. Yeah $700 is low for a CAAD10 but we are talking about a 2011 model and it's now 2014. It also has a 105 group (5700) that now has a newer generation being released in maybe another month. I don't think $700 is crazy . I think the guy's looking to get $1100 for the same bike is crazy.

The same bike is for sale in my area for the same price 2011 Cannondale CAAD 10

Thanks this makes me feel better. I used this website to negotiate bikebluebook.com. It suggests a 2011 caad10 is worth around 700 used.
