I hope the mods leave this thread alone. Their reaction seemed WAY overboard compared to the comments made. And apparently you aren't really allowed to critique the mods on this either, so perhaps I need to shut up. Again. But I'm here now and no longer there. Reminds me of when I was a teenager and all the old people come in the room… Uh… we'll just go elsewhere.

I usually give anything black/white a not, but it's pretty hot. The bar tape should be swapped to gloss black.

Instead of matching everything to the FSA crankset, I would have swapped that out and gone with more subdued stem/seatpost/cages but overall the bike is hot

Not enough room between the chainstay? Did you try mounting it upside down instead?

crank arm should be in line with seat tube. large chainring for chain is unnecesary even ugly.

you people claim to be the keepers of bike porn etiquette but you are just pretenders.

Hot in spite of valve stem caps... But you're pushing it!

Post yours. Let's have a look.

I think an additional rule should be added stating all NOT votes be accompanied by a picture of your ride...I don't mind a NOT but lets see from whence this vote comes....I'm betting in most cases it will take a lot of the sting out of that NOT vote. All Not votes should be deleted unless accompanied by said picture....:innocent:

DXchulo 05-13-14 02:36 AM

Crank arm should be parallel to the ground. In line with the seat tube is OK, but in line with the down tube looks stupid to me.

Homebrew01 05-13-14 04:04 AM

Or crank should be at 2:00 position.

I want to say hot but I'm just not sure about the seat post, crank, and cages. I know you're trying to match the crank but seems a little too much and doesn't quite fit the frame color scheme.

I posted this before, but not in the cool kid thread. I hid the valve stems as they are ugly. Sorry about the crack in the pavement....I should do something about that.

Feel free to suggest additional guidelines and I'll update them. I just wanted to get a better thread started than what the original has become. Other than my bike not being great and shooting the pic from the wrong angle, any other suggestions on proper staging?
