Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What do you think is a fair price? Powertap SL

I am selling an old PT SL Wired. Here is a description. What do you think is a fair price?

I bought this new in 2004, so it is almost 10 years old.

It is used obviously, and was working fine when it was taken off of the bike last week. It has always been accurate. A few notes Shimano Freehub. The wiring harness really needs to be replaced. It was working but some of the wires are exposed. I think you will have issues if you don't replace it.

The heart rate function does not work for some reason. The wheel comes with the strap, which does work because I have used it with a Polar watch. The wheel is a DT Swiss and it shows wear. The download USB cradle was purchased within the past year when the old one quit working.

Check Ebay completed auctions.

$150 sounds about right, maybe a bit high, given that it's wired, and not completely functioning.

I've heard of people getting wireless for $250.
