Check out velomine. They run stupid deals on campy groupsets, if you're looking for that type of thing.

Head to the LBS and have it measured for a fork. also use bikepedia to resarch the bike so you know the basics about it and nejoy... I am currently working on my build of a giant tcr 1 frame... jesus that frame is light. https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycli...uild-pics.html

Stolen, stripped, wheels and components sold on ebay and given a horrible rattle can paint job over the original paint and then traded for meth from the guy who sold you the $20 frame?

Yep, CAAD10 alright.
Whether that is the exact set of circumstances, or not, it certainly appears to have a sketchy past. Happy days for the OP thogh - if the frameset is in tiptop condition (apart from the paint).
cheers

Well, it would seem that the serial number being ground down would possibly confirm the idea of a sketchy past, either way, I got an amazing deal for CAAD10, ****, I didn't even know what I was buying, just that it was Cannondale and extremely light weight, Only problem with it is that there is several layers of paint on it, fortunately for the most part it is coming off, but the paint is being rather stubborn. I will start my build thread now.
