I think not. It's unimportant to me.

No self-loathing stealth poseur would ever be caught riding a bicycle that did not have the UCI sticker. Of course, if anyone ever mentioned it, he'd feign surprise and claim he'd never noticed it before.

Excuse me, I've got to run out to das Fahrrad Haus and check my bikes for these stickers.

My new Roubaix does NOT have a UCI sticker...but it does have a decal at the front of the top tube declaring the bike was the winner of the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 Paris-Roubaix race. As if I need any reminders of how slow I am!

I once played a lot of SP Softball. And one day you could use a DeMarini triple wall and the next day you couldn't. Sanctioning added cost to bats. You almost couldn't competitively play because either you had to have a personal bat or had a friend that wouldn't mind you possibly denting his. So it means to me that they can actually drive up the cost of your next bike whether you'll race it or not.

Decal has to be applied when all other stickers applied and before clear coat. Tamper resistant. Sorry customizers

I think it's because the Specialized Legal Team® is evaluating litigation options.

As if triathletes give a flying **** at a rolling donut.

And I bet a lot more high-end tri bikes are sold then high-end road racing bikes...

Maybe this area is different but I see road bikes 10x more than tri bikes out on the road. And thats including people who do tris.

Incorrect. No self loathing poseur would deign to ride a bike with a sticker that says "I'm too poor to afford a light bike."
