Curious observation. Culprit Croz Blade and Williams Aeros Genesis are ostensibly unrelated frames made by unrelated manufacturers (one is in Taiwan, the other is in California), but, on close examination, they may as well be twins. Curves are the same, internal wiring ports are in the same places, even FD mounts are identical. The only differences I can see are disk brake mounts and a notch in the fork for front rim brake on Culprit, and bulging seatstays on Williams. (There may be more, but Culprit only has one side shot of the frame on its website). And front fork of Aeros Genesis looks very similar to Culprit Arrow One.

Have you contacted Culprit with a question about their warranty? I find it hard to believe that they don't have one on their products.
Of course one must wonder about potential warranty issues when buying a bike on-line from an overseas seller. Culprit GM Joshua Colp says there’s no need for concern. “If [one of our bikes] has a defect we will cover all costs,” Colp wrote in an email. “If we made mistakes or if a part is defective, we will send out replacement parts or a bike and pay for the part change in a local shop.” The warranty process starts by email, added Colp. “We ask our customers to show us the problem by image and explain it. If we cannot resolve it by email or phone call we ask them to go to a local shop with knowledge to confirm what the problem is then action is taken after that. All products come with three-year manufacturer warranty of defect. We also offer a three-year crash replacement policy on our bikes. The first year is a 40 percent discount from retail, second is 30 percent, the third is 20. The customer pays shipping on the crash replacement parts from Taiwan, though. Bottom line, I am confident Culprit is capable of handling warranty issues.” |
