Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Vanity galore. Trying to convince people to wear a helmet while cycling. Basically need you guys to post the most stylish helmets imaginable! PS big pass on the fedora ones...

I wear an invisible helmet. It's very stylish. Turns out it works pretty much as well as any other helmet.

TRUE

I take it you're shopping for newby cyclists. Some of the skateboard helmets look pretty cool and may get them started.

You don't get it.
1) there are no cool looking helmets. We all , to the rest of the world , look like total dweebs and any helmet compounds this exponentially.
2) you can't convince others to wear a helmet. In so trying, you will only annoy them and piss the off.

Yes but let's get real, it's a cycling poll by cycling dweebs about cycling dweebery.
Don't get me wrong, I'm one if you, but I don't make the mistake of thinking anyone out there thinks a cycling kit and helmet is cool looking. Fortunately I really don't care if someone thinks I look cool or not.

I've had more than one fine, sexy woman comment on my helmets, most recently this one:

I suspect, however, it's a 'total package' thing, and not so much the helmet being cool as the rider making the helmet cool. So, choose wisely, but if you're essentially a dork anyway, well...just get whatever you like and don't worry about the other stuff, like style!

Dweeb? My point exactly.

Anyone who would ever describe themselves as a dweeb has no claim to anything regarding cool. Sorry.

I didn't know the words "cool looking" and "bike helmets" could be used in the same sentence!

I think a lot of helmets look cool, at least until you put them on someone's head.

Note that the OP didn't ask if any helmets were cool looking or not. He asked what was the coolest looking. Those are different things.

Anyway, since nobody specified it actually had to be protective,
