Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pulled the Trigger; Bought a Gunnar

For anyone who cares...
Finalized the order for my Gunnar Sport last night. Been saving my pennies for a while now and can't wait for the thing to be delivered and built up. I have yet to break the news to my OCR2. I'm guessing it'll react harshly (Get it? Aluminum frame? Harsh? Oh boy.)

...from another Wisconsinite: Congratulations, you'll love it! When you get it, be sure to post a pic or two. Did you go to the factory?

Thanks. I'll definitely get pictures up as soon as I get it. I didn't get a chance to go to the factory, but I'd like to eventually. I actually ordered it through a shop in Hudson. If anybody's ever in the Hudson area, I'd recommend stopping in to Art Doyle's Spokes and Pedals. They've got some sweet bikes in there, and Art was extremely helpful. He spent 4 HOURS with me, speccing out the Gunnar and tweaking my fit on two of my current bikes. Final cost of the bike was a little more expensive than I could have gotten it at another shop, but I paid the extra dough just because he was so helpful.
