Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Kind of a joke in a way, but with seeing a trend in people getting road bikes with smaller frames so they can shave weight, and compensate with a longer seatpost and stem, I wonder how small frames can get? Eventually the frames could be almost non-existant. They could end up being just a junction point at the bottom bracket for everything else.

Any 700c road bikes out there with super small frames that still qualify as legal?

I know, prolly a dumb topic, but it's Saturday, and I'm bored at work.

Yeah we've already discussed the seatpost and the racing wannabe poseurs. I found that entertaining.

Fistful of seatpost!

Rather than discussing the ride quality of frames, we're going to start discussing the ride quality of seatposts...Oh wait, I think we already are.

How about a carbon nanotube frame?

Or a synthetic diamond frame?

or a buckminsterfullerene tube frame?
