Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm concerned mostly with the sold separately connex link. Reusable, no tools, nice.

Wippermann has always been expensive. I've never even used one, actually. But, they sell their connecting link seperately. If you've never used one , they're pretty awesome. On and off without a tool, and reusable, unlike the kmc connecting link. They can be used on any chain.

For 10 speed, I use nothing but.For 9 speed, SRAM Powerlinks are cheaper and decent, even if not as good

This is huge if the link really is reusable. No one else has it.

I've looked at the webpage pretty thoroughly and can't seem to find anything either way, but wippermann's have always been reusable, so I am assuming that the 11speed is as well. Hopefully I am right.

That they don't list a way to buy the link separately is not a good sign.

The link is reusable, it is going to be available separately, and it will be expensive. Dealer cost is over double that of the 10spd version. Expect to pay $25-30
