Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rinard moving from Cervel to Cannondale

Damon Rinard, probably the most influential person at Cervelo now as far as design and new technology, left Cervelo a few weeks ago. This is after him being responsible, for the new S5. The rumor is Cannondale is his new employer. That's good for Canondale because they haven't done much in the last couple years.

you would think that with all of the computer aid, tools and modeling programs that cranking out "aero" bikes would not be a big deal.

So Garmindale will basically be riding the same guy's bikes? Allowing for a season or so lead time at least.
