Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pro Lite wheels - anybody can give me some feedback?

I was window shopping on wiggle looking for some miscellaneous things and I came across these wheels. They look cool, reasonably light for an aero rim but I know nothing about the brand. Anyone here have experience with them?

I have been thinking about a set of wheels to replace my stock ovals 327 that came with my Fuji Gran Fondo. Not so much looking for a huge upgrade but they have some cosmetic damage due to a garage mishap and it's an eye sore for an otherwise good looking bike.
I've been looking at the Vuelta Corsa Lite and superlite but these pro-lite caught my eyes. I really don't want to spend much but if I have a relatively cheap upgrade however small it will be a bonus.
What do you guys think?

Pro Lite is a solid company. I have a set their Bracciano A27 wheels and they are very good value and pretty lightweight. They are very popular here in Australia. They are harsher riding than my DA 9000 wheels but they are around a third of the cost when on sale. I also have two of their Aurelia road bikes and I just bought my kids a The One 650c road bike.

You can't really compare a 27mm rim to a 42mm.

FWIW - Prolite make some fairly solid wheelsets at a reasonable cost. I had a pair of their Comos - they were boatanchor-esque, but I could not break them - or run them out of true!

The Bracciano A42s have had some good reviews from over here.

cheers
