Lezyne Road Caddy

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lezyne Road Caddy

Anybody use it?

Do you like it?

I've only seen one review, so far.

I had the micro caddy which I liked ok. Main benefit is there is no velcro strap around the saddlepost, so it won't wear out your bibs. Capacity is smaller than many bags, though.

I debated between the Road Caddy and the Arundel Uno. Ended up getting an Arundel Dual in order to ride with two spare tubes. It is an awesome seatbag. So awesome that I also bought an Uno for times when I don't feel the need to carry two tubes. The Uno is likely a comparable size to the Road Caddy. I'd highly recommend either.

It will hold everything I carried in my Specialized Mini Wedgie.

- One tube
- two Co2 cartridges
- inflator
- patch kit
- Park IB-3 multi-tool (works best to separate the tire lever)

I like the clamshell design. Makes it easy to load and get to what you need.

Sits tight under the saddle leaving plenty of seat post available for a tail light mount. Has a light loop that would work well for smaller lights.. The wide Velcro strap seems unlikely to work loose.

I have one I just bought too. I am impressed with how much you got in there.

I've done the same but traded one cartridge for a pair of levers. Good minimalist setup!

I went instead for the 'micro' caddy or 'mini' caddy. I can't remember what it's called. It's just a touch larger so that you can jam in all the stuff you posted in your photo, but you can also cram in another extra tube, which I like. It has one of those under the saddle docking mechanisms, which prevents bib chaffing, which is important to me, because i have massive guads.

I got mine from Lezyne Road Caddy > Accessories > Bags > Saddle Bags | Jenson USA

But you can also get it directly from Lezyne - Engineered Design - Products - OrganizerRoad Caddys - Road Caddy
