BDop shipping
I curious to hear how long a BDop DIY wheelset takes to arrive.
For those that have purchased one, how many days did it take, and where do you live? |
It's Chinese New Year right now, I'm guessing it's gonna take a while.
|
I ordered on a Monday got them
the following Saturday. Speedy!!!! |

It's strange that BDop hasn't been on here lately. |
I haven't ordered anything as big as a wheel/rim from him, but the wheel parts that I have ordered arrived faster than orders that I've placed with companies within the lower 48. We're talking crazy fast, like two business days.

I'm not concerned or in a rush, just curious. |
Also not wheels, but he delivered to me very rapidly. Two days as others have said.

China, Taiwan and Hong Kong all pretty much grind to a halt for Chinese New Year. It often takes a week for everything to spin back up 'normal' speed afterwards, but then they have to clear backlogs.
BDop is a great outfit, but they'll be running a week behind at the moment at least. Bob has a young family and works hard - probably no time for the forum at the moment. |
Ordered a wheel kit on Jan 20, got it on Feb 2.

According to his reply to one of my questions, he was in a 3 day stage race last week. That's a good enough reason to be away from here(IMO).

Yeah, I'm seeing all those ships sitting out off the shore of Long Beach (I'm sure due to the negotiations between the port and the unions). Looks like it might be awhile before that backlog is cleared.

BDOP is a big operation, not a one-man show. His personal schedule shouldn't affect retail customer service.
BTW, the package shipped out early this morning. |
Package received.
