Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sensa Bikes

Hello Everyone, I am currently in the search for a new Bike. I have a budget of 2K. I recently stumbled upon this Brand called "Sensa". They're a Dutch brand that has been making Bicycles for 20 years. For budget I am contemplating a Caad10 Ultegra, and these two sensa bikes. Which would be the Best Bang for my buck?

Sensa Bikes:

Sensa Aquila SL Custom Road Bike - Ultegra Compact - 2015 | Merlin Cycles Weights in at 14 lbs

Sensa Giulia Custom Road Bike - Ultegra 2x11 Compact - 2015 | Merlin Cycles

Cadd10:

CAAD10 Ultegra 3 - CAAD10 - ELITE ROAD - ROAD - BIKES - 2015

I love Merlin but free shipping excludes bikes. I would imagine shipping cost to U.S. on a complete bike balances out any savings

Those claimed weights were copied and pasted from the Sensa website, and they are for the Dura Ace-equipped bikes. The Ultegra-equipped bikes will weigh slightly more.

My girlfriend rides a Sensa Romagna and one of my riding/racing buddies has a Sensa Calabria. I think both of them were pretty good deals for the price, but as rms13 said you will have to consider that the price will go up with shipping included.

Also keep in mind, that if you want an objective opinion about bike brands you probably shouldn't come here to get it. I swear this board is owned and moderated by Cannondale, so if there is one in any bike brand comparison it is like playing the trump card. You might as well just buy the Cannondale if you want BF approval.
