I am getting back on the bike for the 6th season....

I can definitely say that road biking has made a drastic improvement in my life. It's what got me into staying in shape. I will admit that last year I didn't ride as much as I would have liked...

I have a 50mm chainline, just got a new FD that requires a 45mm chainline. Is getting a new BB the only way to solve this?

Precisely what I was thinking. 30 miles to anyone under 200lbs and a 20mph average is way less than 2000 calories. Any 30 mile ride for the average person would be more like 1,000-1,500 calories tops.

A local bike shop called Community Cycles will let you build a free bike from scratch in return for 15 hours of community service! Can't wait! I'm going to have so many bikes. :lol:
