Put the 32mm or the new 35mm Compass extra-lite...

Put the 32mm or the new 35mm Compass extra-lite tires (at about 50PSI) on this bike and it will be a revelation.
IMHO modern bikes will be moving back in alignment with this style of bike, fast...

I had that same bike new.
I broke the frame at the bottom bracket and it was replaced under warranty with a black one, I still have that but the fork is bent.
Unfortunately yours is too...
