i might ride those gears about 5% of a ride...I don't care if I replace the chain in 2,000 miles. I think the 11 speed gearing might not be worth it...never had this issue with my 10spd caad10's......

just because it received a response doesn't mean it's the only answer. Lack of leg strength is not the issue. Whether it's a 50 52 or 46, something shouldn't flex to the degree it rubs in 4 gears. ...

I've not owned a bike where I cannot use 4 of the gears. Especially with high end components like these. Crossing chaining discussion aside, the rub should not occur under load in any gear. ...

I'm 5 11 and ride a 54 Caad10, just got a Caad12 size 54. My Caad12 feels bigger. No way I'm riding a 56...I'm of standard torso and inseam proportions and both bikes fit me well.
