Thanks to all for the comments, these days I will go and try the Stevens.
Unfortunately, I cannot test the Cannondale, coz the local shop doesn't have it in my size. We'll see.

An assistent in one of the local shops I went some weeks ago said similar thing - to choose the bike by look :) And also that bikes under $3000 are more or less entry level bikes.

I guess Stevens bikes are not really famous...

I guess Stevens bikes are not really famous outside West Europe. They are German brand assembled in Hamburg, founded 27 years ago. This is everything I know about them.
