cycling tour in Vietnam is great suggestion for holiday. do anyone has experience about cycling in this country?

I haven't cycled Vietnam but it is one of my dreams. I visited on holiday two years ago and it's one of my favourite countries. The best time to go would be December - February, as March - June is the monsoon season.

As you can read from blogs, there are some great places to bike and others that are terrible - like anywhere. The route from Hue to Nha Trang is some of the most picturesque coast and then up to Dalat if you like climbing. There will be some traffic, but the coastline here is some of the prettiest. A lot of people think if they get away from the busy roads inland, the trip will be better - it is not, you do not want to miss the coastline from central to the south. I've biked in Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia, but not in Vietnam. A cyclist I rode with in Laos had toured in Vietnam and he said the same thing. He also said that the Mekong delta was more pleasant for biking than other parts of Vietnam because it was much calmer and there's little motor vehicle traffic. You have to frequently cross the branches of the river on small boats. Another cyclist I met told me the same thing about Vietnam, and added that people were more aggressive than in other SE Asian countries.

I just toured from Hanoi to Kunming in Yunnan. I would recommend my route to anyone considering a tour in Vietnam. Highway 32 cuts through some spectacula mountains and has just been rebuilt so the surface was very good most of the way. Also there was hardly any traffic.
I loved it, Way way way better than the last half of the trip through southern Yunnan which was pretty horrible in comparison.
