Two days after getting the first one, I snagged another.

The seller said it was built in 2001.

This one is also Columbus Neuron, but not the same Columbus Neuron. And this is another odd frame. 56cm top tube, 52cm seat tube. Who does that? And a mono stay in the rear triangle-- with really wide seat stays.

I guess maybe it is a "compact style" frame if you consider the stem choice. Not sure why you would do that.

And it has the worst touch up paint job ever. I am not sure what happened there.

I don't see how I can keep this frame but it sure is interesting.

huh, my colian frame has that same indentation by the internal guide, I figured it was a ding. maybe I was wrong

Perhaps it's just the pic(s), but the top tube appears to be sloping downward toward the head tube.
That Cane Creek S2 doesn't appear to be a match either.

Looks like the former owner had problems installing the rear brake cable, so put chrome housing caps at the entry and exit points on the top tube. Usually, housing would run continuously through the top tube, but maybe this bike is different. Great snag!

Its not a 'compact frame' but its dimension suggest the original owners body was out of proportion.

Please remove the Rok Shox suspension seatpost. It mars the beauty of the bike.

My c86 Raleigh Technium 440 had similar a similar ST/TT length mix. I guess if I was more flexible and wanted the saddle to bar drop it affords I might have liked it better.

The way that one is set up right now it doesn't really make sense.

nice looking bike. I don't understand the ferrules on the housinf as it enters the TT, are they really needed?

Interesting how the seat stays get wider at the drop outs.

They probably used chainstays tubes for the seatstays. Seems like it would have looked better to flip them the other way so the flattend part is up at the monostay and the tapered end at the dropout.
