What happening at IRO Cycle?

Hey all,

I've been trying to order an IRO Mark V for the past few weeks and have been running into nothing but problems. Their website won't allow me to final submit my order, even after entering my Paypal information. The "contact us" section of the site is broken.

I finally called them late last week and spoke to someone who said they would look into the problem immediately. It still hasn't been fixed and now when I call back the same number it has been disconnected.

Anyone have an inside track on whats happening at IRO?? I would love to order a bike from them, but at this rate I'm ready to try another manufacturer.

Thanks,
Jesse

Hope they come back soon. I was wanting to order a set of cheap hubs from them but since they "reopened" they no longer have them listed =/

I wouldn't expect them to come back but there is still this one:

From the 'Ask Scrod' thread (yes, I'm quoting myself from my own thread):

It's pretty clear they haven't been taking care of business for a while. I suspect it's because of circumstances beyond their control, or those they are unwilling to control. I have no inside information.

I feel it's unfortunate, as I'm really happy with the transaction I had with them last year. I bought a complete bike, which I love, and they gave me really good service.

edit: and btw, those hubs on ebay are from IRO...see seller info. Makes you wonder...

I heard a while back the owners daughter died somehow. Not sure if that's what happened, but it popped into my head.

I used to leave the History Channel on for background noise. Over time that station started to air (and still does?) a lot of programs about e.t. influence on ancient civilizations. That guy is always included with his views on how humans couldn't have done anything without alien help

I turn to DVDs when I want to pretend I'm watching the History Channel in 1997.

I love how this started as an IRO thread, and has become a History Channel thread.

I'm a total geek for WW2 aircraft and miss the old history channel. You don't play IL2 do you?

Tony's son died a few years ago and he took a break for a few months. But other than that he and the IRO staff have been stand up peoples. I wonder what's going on.

Edit: Looks like the site is down. This saddens me.

The History Channel jumped the shark a long time ago. I stayed with them (by watching here and there) till American Pickers and Pawn Stars put them on thin ice. I totally f'ing lost it when they gave Larry the Cable Guy a "history" program.

The Great Dumbing Down of America is almost complete.

I got IL2 a while ago but never sat down to figure it out. Current war game addiction = World of Tanks.
